What we do
Three practices, one job: make the process behave.
Most of what breaks in a business isn’t the software - it’s the seam between the software, the hardware and the people. We work across all three so there’s nobody to hand the seam to.
How we work
Four steps, and the first one isn’t code.
An engagement runs in the same order every time. The order is the point - step three is cheap because steps one and two happened.
01 - Watch
A week on your floor before a line of code
We sit with the people doing the work - in the warehouse, on the line, behind the counter. Every system of ours that worked started here. The ones that struggled started with a wireframe.

What the map finds
The process as it runs, against the process as it was designed.
Almost every process we map has doubled back on itself somewhere - an approval that returns to a desk it already passed, a form re-keyed because two systems don’t talk. Those loops are where the week goes.
Ventures
We don’t just ship software for businesses. We run the businesses that depend on it.
Bangladesh’s commerce runs on infrastructure nobody has built yet. These are four attempts at building it - and operating it at real scale.

Kernel Fund - seed investment
You bring the idea. We bring 10 lakh in seed funding.
Kernel Fund is how fringecore backs ideas before they are companies: BDT 10,00,000 in seed funding, and a team that audits your books, your process and your supply chain the way people who run shops, floors and routes of their own would. Three people, an idea and a 2.5-minute video are all it takes to pitch.
Seed funding
BDT 10,00,000
10 lakh taka. Not a grant, not a loan.

Where we write cheques
Ten sectors. One test: does it fix a process?
If your idea is a sector we haven’t listed, pitch it anyway. The list is where we have an edge, not a wall.
- 01
Capital markets
Tools for the retail investor, the brokerage back office, and the market data nobody has cleaned.
- 02
Hospitals
Queues, beds, billing, referrals. The operational layer that clinicians currently work around.
- 03
Medical AI
Triage, diagnostics and records intelligence built for a ward with forty patients per doctor.
- 04
Construction AI
Progress from site photos, material reconciliation and safety, on projects that still run on paper.
- 05
Factory optimisation
Line balancing, downtime, energy and yield. Ten thousand small losses on a single floor.
- 06
B2B sales
Distributor ordering, field force, credit and collections. Wherever the margin actually leaks.
- 07
Commodities
Pricing, sourcing and the paper trail behind every container of raw material coming in.
- 08
Logistics
Routing, last mile and the warehouse in between. Built for Dhaka traffic, not a simulator.
- 09
Shipping
Freight, customs, berths and vessel schedules. Chattogram moves the economy over phone calls.
- 10
Local business
A tea stall, a food cart, a tailoring shop, a delivery route. Bangla businesses that start selling in a week, not a quarter.
Any questions?
The ones we get asked most.
Do you take on client projects, or only your own ventures?
Both. The ventures are how we prove an approach at our own expense; client work is most of what we do. Running our own businesses means we carry the consequences of our own architecture, which tends to produce different decisions than a project that ends at handover.
What does "hacking hardware" actually mean?
That when off-the-shelf equipment doesn’t fit a process, we build or modify the device rather than bending the process around it. RFID gates, sensors, shop-floor displays, and the firmware that connects them back to the software.
How small a project will you take?
Small is fine. What matters more is whether the problem is a process problem. If you already know exactly what screens you want built, you probably want a development shop rather than us.
Do you work with companies outside Bangladesh?
Yes, though most of our work is here and most of our advantage is here - we know what fails on a rural network and what a distributor’s day actually looks like.
What stack do you build on?
Whatever survives the constraints. In practice that is usually TypeScript across web and mobile, Postgres, and offline-first sync - plus embedded C where there is hardware. We pick for the field conditions, not for the CV.
How do I apply for a role?
Through the careers page, or by emailing team@fringecore.sh with what you have built. Links beat attachments. Educational requirements: none.
